Hulme graffiti – Otterburn close estate. This estate in Hulme was a place that the new age travellers occupied after the crescents had been demolished in the early 90′s. This was one of the bigger estates in Hulme and a place where ICA crew and many others painted all the time in 1995-96. This estate faced Bonsall street and is exactly where the new university has been built near the yellow bricks and Junction Pub. This estate is where i held one of the best graffiti parties ever seen in the Uk, The Smear2 jam featured in Graphotism magazine in 1996, a graffiti/techno party that went on for 3 days and 3 nights. In this picture you can see a painting i did saying Emerge in 3D with the letters ICA behind. IcA emerge from the ghetto. Hulme.
